Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Today's Street Scenes subject is Leila, shot on the corner of Hudson and Bank Streets in the West Village. Feel free to vote on whether you like or dislike her outfit below. Your choices are 'Perfection!,' 'I feel strangely ambivalent about it,' or 'Who did this to you?'

Leila is wearing a hat she bought in France, a jacket from a boutique on the corner of Eighth Ave and Horatio, a skirt from a street vendor in Soho and boots that were a gift from a friend. Her favorite store was Old Japan on Bleecker Street, which closed to make way for a Marc Jacobs boutique.
