Summer Friday, the little shop just south of the Lorimer L stop at Metropolitan that sells hand-made t-shirts and jewelry, has papered local telephone polls with the sign above. But everyone knows you're not supposed to welcome new Williamsburg residents—you're supposed to tell them about how much better the neighborhood was back in the authentically gritty days of 2005.
