In The Window: Lord Willy's, Not Afraid to Be Spirited

In a civilized nod to the approaching vulgarity known as Halloween on Christopher Street, Lord Willy's manages to maintain decorum with a twist. The men's clothier's latest window display seems perfectly normal at first glance, but a closer look reveals subtle features such as a small plastic rat, a black-and-orange polka dot hanky, and giant furry werewolf gloves. Top it off with a framed print of a dapper gent saying "Boo!" and you have yourself a very respectable Halloween display. Given the neighboring X-rated windows, LW is worthy of a salute for slyly taking the high road.
