Chanel has hung a huge vinyl billboard for its Mobile Art Pavilion over a building on 57th Street. According to the Buildings Department, the ad is illegal. We're sure Chanel will have no trouble paying the $15,000 penalty fee, though—that's less than half the cost of one of Lagerfeld's signed, limited-edition Chanel quilted bags. [City Room]
