TIMES SQUARE—We all knew Wal-Mart would show up in Manhattan eventually, but could anyone have predicted that their arrival would involve Australia's bitchingest hard rock band? AC/DC has, for some reason, partnered with the megastore on a pop-up shop in midtown where people can go to to listen to "Black Ice," the band's new album. There will also be a "Black Ice truck" bringing the rock to those who can't make it to Times Square. We're really hoping this means Wal-Mart's going to adopt "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" as their new marketing slogan. [Reuters]
THE BOWERY—Speaking of strange collaborations, that Fucked Up Rogan show that we're sort of obsessed with starts tomorrow afternoon at 2pm. Bring earplugs, cash. [RackedWire]
