Showing that supporting Obama is not just for those able to afford Marc Jacobs or Castelbajac, the Big D discount store at 22 West 14th Street is offering Obama T-shirts for the recession-friendly price of $2.99. Available in navy blue or gray, the basic tees sport a photoshopped Barack in the classic "hey, I know you" pointing pose.
Apparently the shirt is quite popular, as it's featured right up front with the store's stock of Hannah Montana shirts, except that those ring in at a hefty $4.99. No sight of any McCain shirts at the Big D, although you may want to check the janitor's closet.
