If you've been wondering who's behind that "Fresh," "Modern" and "Sexy" plywood covering the corner of 60th Street and Third Avenue, well, look no further. The culprit is home furnishings company Ethan Allen. The retailer's flagship isn't going to be open till spring, but roving photog Femia managed to snap a photo of the tri-level, 7,000-square-foot mega-store through a crack in the plywood on 60th Street. He explains the image as follows: "The lighter squares in the center are 3rd Ave; that face is covered in a tarp so photos from that side were pretty useless." Estimates now put the opening at, earliest, June. That's right—only a few months till you can browse to your heart's content for the perfect dining room hutch or living room setee!
