Designer Tara Subkoff's collection for Bebe, called Tara Subkoff for Bebe, will launch at all of the retailer's stores the first or second week of February. "The twelve-piece collection includes feminine pieces with strength, whimsy, and lots of ruffles. The designer went for '80s-feminist meets 40s-Hollywood glam with a color palette consisting of black, white, red, and a unique heart print. Subkoff is the first in Bebe's new initiative to collaborate with young indie design talent. 'Tara is an independent spirit who exudes a sexy, feministic style,' said Greg Scott, Bebe's chief executive officer. 'Her unique design sensibility perfectly compliments the edgy, sensual style of Bebe.' Prices range from $59 for tops and skirts to $150 for pants, dresses, and a signature trench." [FWD]
