Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Our friends over at Refinery29 have a tantalizing preview of the Karen Walker collection set to fill the racks at Den on February 1st. (The boutique, an effort from the folks behind Odin, hosts a new designer every six to eight weeks; Cheap Monday, Tim Hamilton and Rag & Bone have all done time in Den.) Walker may not be a household name in the US yet, but she's a superstar in her native New Zealand. Shoppers can expect "the complete narrative of Walker's handiwork, from her denim military sash dresses and academia-inspired short-shorts to a vibrant array of floral tea dresses. There will be plenty of the designer's signature Technicolor sunglasses on view, as well."
