Alice Roi keeps popping up. The designer, along with Sarah Luna, has opened a temporary retail space at 27 Canal Street at Essex Street. "The space itself is a funny juxtaposition of Sarah Luna's print-focused, colorful aesthetic with its East Village-girl vibe and Alice Roi's prim and polished dresses and tops in their more muted palette—while there's still a downtown-edge to her pieces, methinks her muse lives a little closer to Union Square. Sarah Luna is also offering items from her recently-launched line of boho-chic housewares, along with some carefully-selected vintage clothing and accessories." Can someone hook this woman up with a permanent space already? No more of this blink-and-you'll-miss-it nonsense. [Gen Art]
