Chloë Sevigny Talks Design With Teen Vogue

Stylish oddball Chloë Sevigny is trying to ramp up excitement for her new clothing line. In the February issue of Teen Vogue, the actress opens up about her collection for hip boutique Opening Ceremony. The fluffy piece, which is sadly not online (you can find scans here and here), has Chloë describe her design technique: 'I'm not very good at drawing sketches. Instead, I would find pictures of girls in magazines wearing bathing suits and draw little outfits on top of them with a Sharpie.' That yielded an interesting 40-piece collection, which will launch at Opening Ceremony. Impressively, it's also going to be carried at Barneys stores nationwide (we're sure neither of those accomplishments have anything to do with her star power). On the web, it's been erroneously reported that the collection will launch sometime this month, but shoppers eager for the "punky," "rockabilly" creations will actually have to wait until the first or second week of February.
UPDATE: A Barneys rep informs us that the collection should appear in their stores either the last week of January or the first of February.
