RED HOOK—Rumors floating around the internet about Ikea pushing its opening back 'til August or later are not quite true. Per an official source at the company, we hear that the furniture store is still scheduled to open its doors this summer, though folks at the retail giant can't commit to an actual month yet. Unfortunately, the inclement weather of the past few days hasn't been entirely conducive to outdoor construction work. [RackedWire]

SOHO—Crosby Street boutique Atelier is moving. Material Interest reports that the menswear store is relocating to Hudson Street just north of Canal. "It will be designed by Fernando Santangelo, who also worked on the Maritime and Chateau Marmont hotels. The exact address is still under wraps because the lease hasn't been signed, but expect the new place to open in April." The new 9,000-square-foot location is three times the size of the old store. Anyone care to share that secret address? [Material Interest via The Shophound]
