From the inbox: "I was just at the A.P.C. store in SoHo yesterday (they are having their Jan. sale, still a good stock of women's items in all sizes but the men's stuff is getting depleted quickly) and they told me that the surplus store would be opening this weekend. The salesgirl told me that I should probably wait until later to go by the store because it would be "unnecessarily busy" since most of the old items are being sold during this sale." Per their PR people, the Surplus store will open at 1pm tomorrow. Prepare yourself for what will inevitably be a shitshow. [RackedWire]
