Billboards: H&M Freshens For Fall on Houston

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Our fascination with H&M's artistic wall advertising on Houston Street, just east of Broadway, is well documented at this point. So our thanks to the phototipster who emails with word that as we type these very words, worker-artist-types are refashioning the wall for fall. Faint tracings of the mural-to-be are visible over the light yellow wash, and the H&M logo will be making a triumphant return to the lower-right corner. So who's coming in? So far we see what appears to be black, feminine hair and olive-colored skin. Your best guesses in the comments.
