MIDTOWN WEST—In the three months since the Sarah Jessica Parker Bitten collection debuted at Steve & Barry's stores across the nation, we haven't really thought about the clothing line at all. We were reminded of it, though, when a reader sent this tip in: "Sarah Jessica Parker at the Steve & Barry's in NYC-already a secret--fall seems slow to arrive in the Bitten line--what's up with that? it should all be in now, no? sorta piecemeal....and all the summer looks still there, and NOT marked down." Uh oh—it's getting chilly here at night, and we still don't have Bitten outerwear? Someone should inform SJP that keeping warm is not a luxury either. [RackedWire Inbox]

GRAMERCY/FLATIRON—An informant sends word of two stores in progress around 19th Street and Third Avenue: "Two new stores coming in. On the NW corner a large space formerly home to a medical use recently got a shed." [RackedWire Inbox]

FLATIRON—The plywood's down at 14 West 23rd Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, and the tenant is revealed to be none other than...a Starbucks! Weren't there mumblings a while back that the company was going to cool it on the expansion for a bit? Maybe that didn't apply to NYC. [The Real Estate]
