As evidenced by this photo of Ricky's signage taken on Manhattan Avenue, things are about to get real sparkly in Greenpoint (if you can't make it out, the banner reads "Newsflash: Ricky's Halloween Store Converts To Ricky's Beauty Supply In December"). When we last checked in with the beauty supply chain, they had announced that they were looking to pepper Brooklyn with three or four of their product-filled shops. Though this location is only temporarily converting to a Ricky's Beauty Supply, owner Ricky Kenig has stated that if a pop-up shop proves successful, he may make the place permanent. You know, this little neighborhood is starting to show real promise, what with Starbucks and now this. Is a Pinkberry on Franklin Street next?
