The KFC/Taco Bell hybrid is no longer the most wondrous corportate amalgamation to be seen on our city's streets. Today, we learn that a combination Starbucks and North Fork Bank will be opening on East 42nd Street. From the Post: "The store will become the first latte-and-loan spot in the city, and perhaps the entire country. The duo is coming together because the building's owner, SL Green Realty, didn't want to divide the 5,500-square-foot space that the bank wanted for its branch." Well, it does sound...convenient.
