Either people take shaving cream very seriously or the êShave publicity team really knows what it's doing (we think it's the latter). The men's grooming product company opened its first boutique in midtown about a month ago to an astonishing amount of press, which included a lengthy article in WWD. The luxury brand is known for its supercreamy shaving cream ($20 for a four-ounce pot) and badger hair shaving brushes. Three more shops are slated for NYC; the next may open in Greenwich Village.
