Enjoy a bit of retail rumor with the morning coffee? Let's get to it. A reliable source tells Racked that Hugo Boss has plans to pack up its current flagship location at 55th and 5th, and set up shop in the Meatpacking District of all places. They'll be taking a 5,000 square foot space on 14th Street, right next door to a little computer company you may have heard of. And what of the primo Fifth Avenue spot? Giorgio Armani will happily take it, thank you very much. It's an interesting (dare we say questionable?) move for Boss, which will join the likes of edgier designers like Stella McCartney and Yigal Azrouël on 14th. [RackedWire]
