Muji Prepares To Invade America, Debuts A US Website

We're a bit late to the party on this, but we thought you should know that Japanese retailer Muji recently launched a US website. The company is set to open its first two stateside stores in New York in the next few months. The first, Muji's US flagship, will be ensconced within the new New York Times building on Eighth Avenue near the Port Authority. The second, slated for "late fall," will be located at 455 Broadway between Grand and Howard Streets in the space that had housed Iceberg Army Navy. As of now, the website is pretty bare bones, but hopefully they'll add merchandise soon, you know, for web shoppers and those who don't live in our fair city.
