1) Soho: British menswear designer Andrew Buckler already has a NYC boutique in the Meatpacking District (opened in 2005), but now he's looking to break into the Soho retail scene. Buckler will be located at at 93 Grand Street between Greene and Mercer Streets. The 2,600-square-foot store is slated to open within the next few months. [Racked Staff; The Real Estate]
2) Chelsea: Marc Ecko, of streetwear brand eck?, is opening an outpost of his contemporary line Marc Ecko Cut & Sew on Eighth Avenue between 17th and 18th Streets, or, as The Shophound puts it, "right smack in the middle of Gaytown." A strange move, all things considered. [The Shophound]
