Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Before we turn off the laptop to enjoy this holiday weekend, a briefing on Racked's upcoming Fashion Week coverage. We are very excited to announce that we'll be blogging live daily from outside the tents at Bryant Park. Yes, that's outside the tents. What could be more thrilling than a blow-by-blow account of the frenzy and hysteria that takes over the city for one week?
Perhaps this: We've partnered with Refinery29, the online go-to guide for independent fashion—from innovative off-the-beaten-path boutiques to street trends and all the latest emerging designers—to bring us, and you, reports from the shows. Starting Thursday, September 6, they'll deliver eight days of concise and colorful updates on all the top independent fashion shows of note during New York Fashion Week. In addition to super succinct runway summaries, Refinery29 will also include their favorite street style shots from around the city.
In addition to all that goodness, Racked will also be a one-stop shop for other Fashion Week coverage on the internet—count on compilations of reviews and reporting from a myriad of sources daily. So, to summarize, we've got the action inside and outside the tents all wrapped up. And now, we've got to hydrate and get our head in the game. It's going to be a wild week and we hope you'll enjoy it with us.
