The Soho of today.

Sigh. We hate to be the bearer of bad news, really we do. But it is our job, our responsibility to keep you, the dedicated reader, abreast of any and all NYC retail developments. Okay, enough hedging: we hear, from a reliable source, that a Hollister is opening up in Soho. Yes, the sluttier, younger version of Abercrombie & Fitch (Hollister's parent company) is opening on Broadway and Houston Street. But, you may be asking to yourself, all the storefronts thereabouts are taken—where will Hollister go? Well, kiss the Pottery Barn at 600 Broadway goodbye. Also, a note to Prada: the hood's gone way, way downhill. Best get out while the gettin's good.
