Storecasting: Something New For Babies Coming To The UES

Above, a photo of the space at 1451 Second Avenue between 76th and 77th Streets rumored on 78thand2nd to be opening as a Pottery Barn Kids. It was previously home to a Chambers Outlet, which was absorbed by Williams Sonoma, the company that owns Pottery Barn. So it would seem reasonable that a Pottery Barn Kids would open here. But, there is a Pottery Barn Kids only a few blocks away at 69th and Second Avenue. We called that location, and found out that 1451 Second Avenue will be a Pottery Barn baby clothing store. It's a large space, too bad the neighborhood isn't gaining something more exciting.
