That the quiet environs of Red Hook will soon be home to a ginormous Ikea store is non-breaking news, to be sure, but damn—construction at the site is really chugging along. Those Scandinavians, always so industrious. Wonder when they'll start paving the huge parking lot that the store will necessitate.
