Rackage is a look inside recently-opened stores around town. Today, let's take a gander at camera shop K&M in Tribeca.

B&H Photo isn't the sole large-scale independent camera and photo equipment retailer in NYC. Here we have Tribeca's K&M Camera. Though the store isn't new—the family-owned business has been around for more than 30 years—it looks fresh thanks to a recent, massive renovation (note: K&M also has a Flatiron location). The place's owners sprung for new lighting throughout and extended the store's mezzanine to better showcase their range of cameras and photo equipment. Shoppers will find gadgets for both rental and sale here, including Profoto lighting and always-popular Canon cameras and lenses.
