1) G-Star: Netherlands-based denim company G-Star has opened a second outpost in New York. The 5,500-square-foot shop, which we noticed going in way back in April, is located at at 873 Broadway between 18th and 19th Streets in Union Square. 2) Shobha: Hair removal is a serious business in this city. Proof positive: Shobha, a salon that specializes in threading, waxing and sugaring.
