Time again for another installment of In The Window, in which we collectively monitor the goings-on behind the glass. If you've seen a notable display, do share: window submissions welcome.
The folks behind Crumpler, the Aussie-based bag store with quite possibly the oddest website we've ever run a mouse across, must be across-the-board weird. Aside from the bacchanalian celebration that is their annual "Beer for Bags" event, they've got some really peculiar window displays. This photo is from their West Village location at 49 Eighth Avenue at West 4th Street. We're not sure what, exactly, mannequins wearing bikinis and monster masks have to do with messenger bags, but at least one West Village shop owner has a sense of humor.
