Essex Street Market Rebrands Its Renaissance

The Lower East Side's Essex Street Market, the capacious food court of sorts on Essex Street just north of Delancey, endures with its charming (or non-charming, depending on how one chooses to view these things) yet decrepit decor. But with several new vendors having joined the ranks the last few months—Kenny Shopsin among them—that market's given itself a full visual upgrade in the form of a spiffy new website and marketing campaign. Of particular utility on the new site: the merchant map.
