While we're on the topic of blasts from the past, Ugg, the purveyor of those Australian sheepskin boots that had their day in the sun a few years back, is holding a week-long trunk show from Wednesday July 25th through Wednesday August 1st at the company's Soho flagship at 79 Mercer Street. Aren't you just dying to see what they've got in store for fall '07? According to Shecky's, "The new collection features old favorites as well as bold new additions, such as the Caroline boot with no fur in sight, for the closet Ugg fans." Come on now—bold new additions with no fur in sight? If you must go and buy Uggs, the furry type really is the only way to go.
