AM RackedWire: Libertine For Target Available Now

If you don't want to fight the crowds on Sunday July 15th for the Libertine for Target collection, here's an interesting report from no good for me: the collection is now in store at a Bronx Target (40 W 225th St between Broadway and Exterior St, Bronx; 718-733-7199). According to her post, the collection is slightly hit or miss, but "while I'd dismissed this as kind of juvenile (and there are definitely a lot of candy punk-prep adorable pieces if that's your thing), there are some nice, sophisticated, even luxurious pieces. The black crepe dress with cream crocheted collar border is well-cut and the material much better than the $39.99 price tag, and the creme silk bolero with black edging is also well-done." She also likes Libertine's accessories, especially an roomy overnight bag. Again, let this be a lesson in Target's store policies. We've learned from past experiences that even though the retailer might set a firm date for a collection to launch, stores don't always follow suit. Best bet is to call a location before you head over.
