In a lot of ways, behemoth email newsletter DailyCandy -- still our favorite of the bunch, by the way -- is like a 13-year old teenage girl. Young-sounding, alternatively precocious and naive, adventurous, but she has to be home by 11, tediously repetitive from time to time. But mostly, ill-advisedly set in her ways. We are referring to, specifically, her flat-out refusal to serve up the candy via RSS (RSS primer is here). It's been a long-standing belief of DailyCandy and others in the newsletter game that to deliver via RSS is to threaten the core business. At the end of the day, it's only our battle in so much as by keeping the candy off the RSS, it makes it harder for you to get to.
Now, thanks to the technology wizards at Dapper, we don't have to wait for DailyCandy to grow up. Presenting the first ever public DailyCandy rss feed. Enjoy, people. Thrillist, dude, you're next.
