The scene outside the Soho Apple store was ebullient as just moments ago, the first few people in line ran out of the store holding their newly-acquired iPhones aloft. Outside the store, folks are yelling, photographers are elbowing their way to the front and bystanders are looking on amused. The block of Prince Street in front of the store has been shut down. We're typing this from the curb on Greene Street, as some shmuck walks behind us handing out cards for his web business to the people still on line.
