ONLINE—Shopbop.com has just revealed its newest moneymaker. You might remember the project that one PR rep told us would "rock the fashion world." Turns out it is, as rumored, a new high-end web store called Designer Boutique. The site will sell clothing from designers such as Brian Reyes, Sari Gueron, Derek Lam, Thakoon, Zac Posen and Proenza Schouler and is set to launch in August. [Shopbop]
ONLINE—More developments in the world of online shopping. BBH Management, the company that took over the domain name and intellectual property of Portico Spa, has reopened Porticospa.com for business. [Racked Inbox]
MIDTOWN WEST—This morning, the Post ran an Page 6 item about the Victoria's Secret pop-up store which went a little something like this: "We hear that Victoria's Secret Beauty is setting up a beauty candy store at 52nd Street and Broadway." Funny, we thought everyone else heard about that last week, when Fashion Week Daily announced it. Whatevs, it sounds pretty boring no matter who's "reporting" it. [NY Post]
