This will be the last summer for fast-fashion clothing chain Mexx's New York stores. A tipster sends us a note that "Mexx in Soho (Broadway btwn Spring and Broome) is closing at end of day, Monday, 6/25. The 5th Ave location will remain open through the summer." We put in a call to the store and found out it was actually closing this Sunday. This follows the news, released in February, that Liz Claiborne would be closing stateside Mexx outposts in a money-saving restructuring effort. Calls to Mexx HQ have not been returned. [Racked Inbox]
