What you're gazing upon is a rendering for the newest Neighborhoodies outpost, opening around the end of July at 20 Jay Street in Dumbo. From the store's owner, "[The rendering] shows the view from right inside the front door - we have conceived a continuous ribbon that will serve as shelving and built-in spaces for the sewing machines...Obviously the space will be colorful. These are for ease of architectural viewing." They've been detailing the progress a bit on their website, scroll down for images of the exterior and very raw interior. The 1,500-square-foot space will function as both store and the company's HQ, meaning that they'll have their laser-cutting equipment and fabrics on sight, as well as two seamstresses—a bonus for anyone looking to pick up a last-minute personalized gift. On that note, we'd also like to mention that as of today, they've added Anna Wintour to their list of Famous Faces graphics (FYI: Her image is listed under "The Devil").
