Storecasting is a look at upcoming shop openings. Today, we've got two dessert destinations worth salivating over.
1) Gramercy: Dessert blogger and pastry chef Lovescool is preparing to open her very own bakery and tea shop on Third Avenue between 16th and 17th Streets. The store, Amai ("sweet" in Japanese), will be the first brick-and-mortar location of an already-existing online shop and is slated to open this fall. [Racked Inbox; Lovescool]
2) Upper West Side: Apparently, Upper West Siders are so excited about the Jacques Torres store coming to 285 Amsterdam Avenue between 73rd and 74th Streets that some are weeping for joy. It'll be the chocolatier's third location after Soho and Dumbo. [NY Observer]
