Rackage is a look inside recently-opened stores around town. And now, let's visit Brooklyn's newest yoga shop, Omala.
It's hard to get more niche than a yoga store for women. Meet Omala, one of the most recent editions to the Atlantic Avenue retail stretch. The store is stocked with an array of drapey, soft yoga gear, much of it made from eco-friendly bamboo fibers. Shoppers will also find yoga mats, books, bags and headbands as well as, surprisingly, a few products from excellent New Zealand-based beauty company Trilogy. Although the shop will most likely appeal to yoga enthusiasts (go figure), much of the clothing is stylish enough to be worn outside of the studio. The boutique is Omala's first brick-and-mortar shop and will function as their flagship.
