It's hard to keep track of all the designer collaborations landing in chain stores these days, what with Target, H&M, Kohl's, Express, Payless and countless others getting in on the act. Here's another one to mark on your calender: The folks over at Gap are gearing up now for the roll out of their next Design Editions collection, to hit stores Tuesday, April 15th. It's the second year that the mass retailer has given the guest designer thing a whirl; the whole exercise is part of Gap’s partnership with the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. Last April, the white shirts, designed by Doo.Ri, Rodarte and Thakoon, debuted to a decent amount of buzz; this time around, interest should be high given the names involved—3.1 Phillip Lim, Band of Outsiders, threeASFOUR, Michael Bastian and Philip Crangi. The line will be focused on white shirts again, as you can see in the above photo, but Gap's also branched out a bit with menswear and jewelry. The pieces will be priced from $35 to $88.
