Crocs Soho: See You Summer Of '08?

New, 1 comment

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We hate to announce bad news right before the holidays, but it's our duty to tell you that the much-delayed Crocs Soho store may not open until summertime. Sad, we know. A tipster writes: "Crocs has signed a 20 year lease at 143 Spring Street. This is a historic district. I just checked out the results from the December 19th NYC LPC hearings. They have been approved on December 19th to install a new storefront and demolish a 2 story building and construct a one-story building with a mezzanine. So, Crocs by the summer in Soho?" We can hardly wait!
