Streetwear designer Marc Ecko's tailored sportswear collection Cut & Sew could have been a hit with the tourists on Broadway in Soho, but Chelsea isn't having it. The designer's Cut & Sew store on Eighth Avenue in Chelsea, opened in the former Bang Bang Men space in late September, really didn't fit in from the get-go and now the shop seems to be going through some sort of identity crisis. Their latest marketing move, a fake Star Wars poster, is a real head-scratcher. We doubt the gayborhood will be impressed with the development.
