The Lower East Side is finally rid of the Steve Madden outlet, but that doesn't mean that the footwear company's given up on 132 Ludlow. Nope, they're now in the process of turning the space into a Steven by Steve Madden store. A Racked staffer writes: "Workers were scurrying about in the old Steve Madden outlet at 132 Ludlow and Rivington Streets last night. The windows of the space now say 'Steven' and there were a ton of boxes piled up outside. They were practically blocking the sidewalk! Scourge!" Listen up, folks—this is the new LES and we all have to get used to it. Steve Madden is here to stay.
