New chocolate shops are popping up all over town, just in time for the holidays. "MarieBelle, a SoHo chocolatier, opened two weeks ago on the Upper East Side in a second-floor space...Tomorrow, Jacques Torres will open his third shop, his most elegant, with mirrors, marble, dark wood and crystal chandeliers on the Upper West Side...Vosges Haut-Chocolat, whose New York flagship is in SoHo, recently opened a store at 1100 Madison Avenue (83rd Street)." And, "Back downtown, Rhonda Kave just opened Roni-Sue's Chocolates in the Essex Street Market on the Lower East Side last week." [NY Times]
