RackedWire: Walgreens Astor Place Gets Signange, Plum Parties

NOHO—There's signage up at the Walgreens going in at 12 Astor Place. An East Village-based Racked correspondent writes: "Walgreens has put their signage up at the old astor wines store. It is a walgreen version of the old sign, harking back to the glory days when that corner wasn't all franchises and banks. Classy" [RackedWire Inbox]

LOWER EAST SIDE—Ludlow boutique Plum is celebrating its third anniversary on Thursday (its sister shop Pear will be turning one). There will be cocktails at the store that night, and merchandise will be 15% off. As the LES retail scene is extremely volatile, three years is a pretty big achievement. Congrats, ladies. [RackedWire]
