The Bronx wants to be the next borough blessed with a Trader Joe's. "Residents hope that a Manhattan College development in Riverdale could be the site of the first Trader Joe's in the Bronx...The 12,000 square foot retail space...could be split into two smaller stores, but Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz said residents have been clamoring for a store like Trader Joe's, which would be a good fit for the site. 'It would be a tremendous benefit to our community,' he said. 'People in our area would be very excited about that.'" No shit. [The Real Deal]
