Madewell, J. Crew's boho spinoff, is slowly readying its first Manhattan location for fall shoppers. The store going in at 486 Broadway and Broome Street does not look like it will be ready to open within the next few months, but we've received word from the brand's PR reps that it will indeed debut before the end of November. Here, the shop's exterior, ahead, a look at the interior.
Soon, this space will be filled with the label's fall/winter collection—which means loads of denim, flat and heeled leather boots, a colorful assortment of long scarves and a few pieces of clothing designed especially for the New York store. For now, we have concrete blocks, ladders and what appears to be a ream of printer paper. Patience.
