According to a tipster, the Pathmark at 227 Cherry Street between Rutgers Slip and Pike Slip on the far southeast edge of the Lower East Side is shuttering in a few months. PARK SLOPE—Brooklyn Industries continue to expand citywide. The burgeoning chain has apparently outgrown its Seventh Avenue space in Park Slope and is expanding into the storefront next door. Guess people can't ever have enough hoodies and messenger bags. [Brownstoner]
