[Bose Soho on Friday, a day before opening]

Soho shoppers can now buy as many pairs of noise-canceling headphones and computer speakers as their hearts' desire: Audio equipment seller Bose is now open at Jean Nouvel's 40 Mercer! Though Bose played it safe with a subdued (boring) color palette, the electronics offered here are anything but snoozeworthy—we're talking the original Bose® Wave® radio, a 'sonic marvel;' in-ear headphones and, ah, more speakers and headphones. Just take a moment and let it all, in its safe, sanitary beigeness, wash over you.
