It's surprising to see women waiting on line to get in to latest Tahari sample sale, being held at Fifth Avenue and 43rd Street, not only because the brand just held a sale at the beginning of the month but also because it's Tahari. You know, purveyor of safe, office-appropriate basics. This line rivals the one on the opening day of the Barneys Warehouse sale. Perhaps it's because the retailer picked the right neighborhood to hold the sale in—midtown, the epicenter of the pantsuit and button-down-wearing community. [Racked Inbox]
