West Villagers are still coming to terms with the fact that designer Marc Jacobs is opening yet another store in their neighborhood. "That is just down the street from my apt. (I've lived on Bank Street for more than a decade), so I am NOT happy about it. He's really just ruined the neighborhood, as far as I'm concerned. And there's no end in sight. Now that he's there, I can only imagine what will move into the old travel agency/Tao of Living space. And that building next to Le Fanion is being remodeled and, I think, has a retail space on the ground floor. Oy. Long Island City, here I come!" [Racked Inbox]
